Birds nests...

This year instead of dyeing Easter eggs....we made birds' nests!  It was much easier and way tastier!! :)

Easter egg hunt

There was a Easter egg hunt today put on by the Jaycee's.  So, I swapped Kinley for our friend Zeke and the boys had a great time!  They made a haul too....free pizzas, real goldfish, subs, taco's, sand pails, candy, etc etc!

It WAS a little chilly waiting outside but BOTH of the boys assured me it was well worth the wait!

This past weekend the four of us were able to run up to spend time with my folks and sisters family for a quick weekend!  It was great to spend time together!! :)

Kin has been pushing chairs over to things to 'get what she wants'.....well, I am a little nervous that she will be able to open the front door and escape this summer!!  Here she is practicing.

Last week a my friend Nicole & I went to see another friend who is on modified bedrest for the rest of her pregnancy (she is currently 18weeks).... This is a pic of Nicoles daughter Kara and Kinley...they are only 1 month apart....  'sleeping babies'

This past weekend I took Soren on a date.....well, we met some good friend there also!  It was very cute, when I told Soren that he & I were going on a date and that he needed to get dressed, he promptly went downstairs and got out his shirt & tie!  :) That's my boy! We went to the Audio Adrenaline concert at the E Free church here.  I can't say that I absolutely loved the concert, but there wasn't 'one thing' that I disliked either!  However, for me that absolute highlight was watching Soren and his friend, Aubrey dancing in the aisles!  They absolutely LOVED it!!  Soren, as you can imagine, was dripping in sweat!  It was a great workout and tons of fun!  :)

In the past week....

Someone in our house has had a bilateral ear infection, rotavirus, nausea & vomiting, fever, sore throat, a cold, sinus congestion, and restless nights. I think we covered ALL the potential viruses out there....we should be 'good' for a while, right?!?!

House guests

This past week we got to host the Sombke family of 5.5 while they were in between houses!!  I have got to admit, I was a little apprehensive that after 4 nights/5 days, two families would but heads once or twice!  But to be absolutely honest it was a joy to have them here!  Not once was I stressed out by their presence! Not to say that it wasn't a little 'busy' at times....but it was just fun!  I am glad they live within a 5 min drive now so that we can see them anytime!  Thanks for spending the week with us! :)
