A few more about Cmas

Scott & the kids enjoyed decorating (or eating…..) sugar cookies while I was working!

Trying to 'get' a great picture of one spicy 2 yr old……it's just comical!  Just before leaving for Cmas Eve services!

Soren asked to take a pic of Scott & I….I think he did good work!

One great daddy & his cuties!

I was impressed by this pic…..loving my new camera and having a timer!

Reading the story of Jesus' birth….before bedtime!

I think this is one of my favorite gifts to the kids this year!  My friend Emily takes amazing pics of my kids…..and so I was able to make them into ornaments this year. The ornaments are SO sturdy….a keepsake for sure!

Just the 4 of us

I worked 7-3 this Christmas Day…but after I got home from work just the 4 of us got to spend the day together!  It was a fantastic day!  We got to…..

Once again….Roo was ALL about opening presents!!

A new game for traveling to ND….Hangman!

Feeding her baby ASAP….'she was crying!" lol

Soren has wanted to get Scott and new lunchbox for Cmas….he couldn't wait for Scott to open it!  :)

A new bike for this growing boy!

A new game from the Skoglunds!  SO FUN!

Who doesn't want JD checkers….. ;)

I had bought this amazing kitchen on a garage sale this summer for $20!!!  I was super excited for Roo to have it as she's always 'cooking!' Let me tell you that this kitchen is worth every penny and more!

Both of them are loving it!

A serious game of JD checkers!

Our family then had Papa Murphys (no cooking for this mama:))… the kids loved 'making' their own pizzas!

Followed by a picnic supper watching Charlotte's Web!

Ended with new Cmas PJ's!

A perfect day for this mama!!

'Little' Newberg Christmas

This year we were able to host Scott's mom, dad & sister on Christmas Eve!  A grand time was had by all!  Good food, presents, games of connect four and 'garbage' and just spending some time together!

"Helping" Grandpa cuz his hand is still injured!!

Church Christmas program

Tonight, Soren & Kinley participated in our church's Christmas program!  They said a little poem and sang "Go Tell It On the Mountain!" Soren did a wonderful job!  Kinley….well she is 2….and yup, she followed in Soren's footsteps.  When he was 2 he was the one who yelled, "I see my mommy! Hi! Mommy!" etc.  She did a wonderful job of that as well tonight! :)

That's a whole lot of young children!!  Thank goodness for wonderful teachers!

Here's me trying to get more pics of the two of them dressed up! If you take lots of them…there's one bound to turn out….right!?!?

Here's the one that 'didn't' make the Christmas letter! Real life! :) Loving it! :)

"Big" Newberg Christmas

Last night we celebrated Christmas with Scott's aunts & uncle, cousins and Grandma! As usual time went by to fast and as parents with young children, we didn't get to spend much time chatting! :)
A few pics in front of the tree before we departed!

Kinley loved opening presents…excited about the colors!  I wish I could've captured the pure joy she had when opening this 'baby!' It was SO much fun to watch!  She hasn't put that baby down since we came home….she's super a little mother!  She feeds her veggies and bottles, 'ssshhh's' her, and swaddles her up!  It's so fun!

Soren was also excited to get some new Legos….they are always high on his 'list!'  After being up until 10pm last night, he was up promptly at 7am to put one box together by 8.15am!!

Remember how I said she was loving that baby….she didn't set it down the rest of the night!

My attempts at a whole group picture
Cousin Joel and his lovely wife Emily loving on Soren!
