When you are sick at our house it is MUCH easier to talk this mommy into watching Elmo on PBS kids and wear your adored cow costume for the second day in a row!!

Really!?!?!

Here's part of the conversation/experience Soren and I had this morning. We were making soup for some friends and cutting up the veggies. As I'm cutting up the green pepper Soren asked for some....okay. As I'm cutting up the celery Soren asked for some...okay. As I'm cutting up the carrots Soren asked for some....okay. As I'm cutting up the onions Soren asked for some...okay. Then he asked for some more and more and more....he ate HALF of on onion??? REALLY!?!? Above is a picture of him enjoying the onion.

Then I sent him AND his onion breath to play out in the garage as it's raining/sleeting today.

Snuggling with Daddy...

Taking guitar lessons from Grandpa Terry...

I think Soren could watch Scott blow snow off the driveway for hours...

Making forts with furniture/blankets...

Soren is 'fixing' his truck

These are just some of the ways we've been keeping busy this past weeks when it has been SO cold.

Wisemen???

At our house wisemen drive red tractors! I'm not so sure that Grandpa Terry would think a man is wise to drive a red tractor!!

White Christmas

With some reports of possible 20 inches of snow this Christmas, Soren and I went outside to 'practice' shoveling before the big storm hits. Of course, we had to circle to house a few times in the sled:-)!! Merry Christmas!!

We are off to great start with many years of programs ahead of us:-)!! He did manage to make it through three songs and 3 out of 4 spoken pieces until he and another little boy found the toy car on stage and went after it!!
