Bathroom talk

When Soren was potty training we got in the habit of him reading a magazine or us reading him a book to encourage him to sit there for a while!! Well, we've continued this tradition every once in a while. Apparently, this past week while I was using the bathroom I was taking to long. So in walks Soren with a tractor book and sits down on the bench and starts reading to me!!!

Sonshine 2010

This past weekend my best friend from college (and her family) got to come visit for a few days!! We had just a wonderful time hanging out and getting to know Addie as a 2 year old! We got to spend a day at Sonshine with no toddlers and then some great family time the next day!! Thanks for coming....I hope the rest of your travels went well!

Impromptu trip

I've heard how awesome this free outdoor waterpark/regular park was but it hasn't ever worked to get there. SO....today the Daniel family invited us to run up to St. Cloud for a quick trip to enjoy the beautiful day!! What a treat for Soren and treat for mom (Chipotle:-))!!!

Lake Beauty Bible Camp

We got to spend this past weekend at Lake Beauty Bible Camp!! We have heard how awesome camp was and we finally got a chance to experience it!! It was amazing! I couldn't imagine how great the weekend would be if I wanted!! The food was great, the plethra of available activities, the company, the relaxation and many of the things you see on the slide show! Scott and I also really enjoyed the speaker/chapel! I really needed to be reminded that God's in control! Thanks for adopting us into your family so graciously....Reese family!

Willmar Fest

Once Soren got a toy product booklet from John Deere...he wasn't interested in candy and floats anymore....it's all about John Deere!!

Conversations with Soren....

Scott and Soren were at Wal-Mart today. As a man is walking by Soren said, "Daddy, is that John?" "John who?" Scott replied. "John the Baptist!" Soren eagerly replied. Scott said "no" to which Soren responded, "Where is John the Baptist?"

As I was making sandwhiches for lunch a while back Soren informed me that he didn't want salad on his sandwhich (aka lettuce!).

I got home from work tonite and Soren comes up to me, "Mom, I haven't gotten my Soren hug today!"

Soren said to Scott as he got home the other night, "How was your day, husband!"

I LOVE this age!!!!

Addicted....

to hummus that is!! My friend Beth had us over for lunch the other day and introduced me to hummus! I LOVE it!!! I've heard lots about it...seen it on menus but have always been a little shy to try it! Well, she served it with fresh veggies and it was great! Thanks Beth!
