At our house wisemen drive red tractors! I'm not so sure that Grandpa Terry would think a man is wise to drive a red tractor!!

White Christmas

With some reports of possible 20 inches of snow this Christmas, Soren and I went outside to 'practice' shoveling before the big storm hits. Of course, we had to circle to house a few times in the sled:-)!! Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Program

You know the kids that comes out and says very loudly, "I SEE MY MOMMY" at the Christmas program. Well, you guessed it....that was Soren this year! We are off to great start with many years of programs ahead of us:-)!! He did manage to make it through three songs and 3 out of 4 spoken pieces until he and another little boy found the toy car on stage and went after it!!

Lorie Line 2009

It was our 5th annual Lorie Line concert date night this year!! As always, we were able to meet up with the Brandel's for a fantastic meal and great conversation! It is something we look forward to every year and this year was a no different!

Random Acts of Kindness

Tonight, Soren and I were picking up Subway to bring to Scott out in the field when the generous lady in front of us paid for one of our sandwhiches!! THANK YOU!!

It's hard to resist a red-headed two year old when...

Scott was just telling me that last night after Soren's bath, Scott was combing Soren's hair and Soren said, "Am I cute daddy?" :-)!!! Gotta love it!

Christmas Tree shopping...

The excitement of running through the trees and hiding from Daddy was worth keeping Soren up late last night. So that when I got home from work we could got to the nursery to look for the perfect tree. The glee and giggles were evident. Plus the cookies and cider were a bonus.

Soren's sayings...

On Thursday, Scott and Soren were at Menards shopping when Soren belted out, "There's a hole in my owie, dear Soren, dear Soren." Of course to the tune of 'There's a hole in my bucket dear Liza, dear Liza.' We aren't sure what owie he was talking about:-)

Yesterday as we were preparing for the Schueler Pumpkin Party, Soren got to try on his cow costume after naptime. He came out to show me and said, 'This cow is HUNGRY."

While Soren and I were walking out of the YMCA today it was snowing pretty good...Soren grabs a taste of snow and says, "It tastes like chicken, mama."

You know you live in MN when

One day you are outside raking the leaves, enjoying the nice weather....

and the next day you are stuck inside because it's COLD and SNOWY outside!!

Happy Birthday!

Scott's 32nd birthday is tomorrow! Unfortunately, I work a 12hr shift and so we are celebrating with friends (and their birthdays) on Friday night! He is an amazing husband and wonderful father and we are more than excited to celebrate his 32 years! We love you-

California Fun

This past weekend my husband sent me out to see my beautiful new niece and her family in California. I had a wonderful time, of course it went to fast, but never the less it was a blast! Kari is such a good baby and Siri has some great help from her siblings!!

Soren's new wheels...

Soren loves to ride his 'motorcycle.' He loves to ride down the driveway.... make me really think about getting up to get him before he goes into the street...and puts on his brakes (feet down) three feet from the end of the driveway and turns back to give me a great grin!!! Ugghhhh...he knows how to get my heart going:-)!!! Isn't being two great!!

Labor Day weekend...

Soren spent the weekend experiencing many NEW things with Grandpa Terry. It was his first ride on a green tractor. It was his first ride on a motorcycle. There was talk of his first airplane ride....but that will wait for another day!!

Sunday afternoon ride...

We spent the afternoon riding out to Spicer with some friends, playing in the park, and of course finishing the day out with some Dairy Queen. A good time was had by all.
