Swim lessons

Have been a hit at our house! The is the first time we've done lessons and Soren has absolutely loved them. I hope that his love for the water continues! Maybe he'll follow in his daddy's footsteps and swim competively!!4 out of the 5 kids in lessons were from our church!! How awesome is that! Soren, Lyza & Seth (missing Isaiah).

Contrary to popular belief....

Soren does occasionally play with toys other than tractors. The train tracks have been a hit these past few days!!!

IT'S A......

healthy, active baby! At 21weeks our babe is growing like a weed and right on track to be born late June!! We are so excited to meet #2!!

Valentine's Day!

Soren has really started to get into 'The Cat in the Hat'....so for Valentine's Day at preschool we made the 'hat' into a box! Their party is on Thursday!!!

Conversations with his machinery....

Soren: Mom, Combine wanted to come out of his shed (the closet) but I told him it was to early and to dark outside yet!

Mom: Oh, really.

Soren: Yeah mom, he starting crying.

Mom: Hmmm.....

Soren: Mom, I told him that I wasn't very happy with him!

If only all the machinery COULD talk back....what stories they'd have!

A sign of things to come???

I have to say that this pregnancy has been VERY different than Soren's. It's been difficult right from the start. I didn't feel well with this one until 17-18 weeks along and we are only 20 weeks now!! So I'm praying that we've turned one HUGE corner and I'm able to enjoy the rest (well except for those last few weeks, I suppose:-)) of the pregnancy!!! I really do feel blessed to have Soren, for the most part he is an awesome child....so will this child try our patience? We have our ultrasound next week and I'm super excited!!! I'd like to know if this child will have red hair also....a boy or girl....oh all those fun things that we wonder about until his/her birthday!! I can't believe that we are 1/2 way there...but like my sister says, "It's the last month that's the longest!"

Fun, Fun, Fun....

This week we get to have Maddie and Chloe as our houseguests. Soren wakes up eagerly every morning wanting to go downstairs to wake them up to play!! Soren and Maddie spent some time learning letters this morning.

Maddie and Soren gave us a piano recital .

The 'Daddy elevator' brought Soren back up the sledding hill only to return to the bottom! I think Scott got a good workout in!

Maddie and Chloe enjoyed the sled over the tube!! Thankfully, we were able to get out and sled before the big snowstorm that has kept everybody home today!!!
